Nadhiya Moidu to play a crucial role in Mohanlal’s Neerali

Shoot for Mohanlal’s Neerali is currently progressing at a rapid pace in Mumbai. The movie directed by Ajoy Varma and scripted by newcomer Saju is a thriller, set entirely outside Kerala.Reportedly, the movie has two female leads. While Parvatii Nair is already confirmed, the makers have not yet announced who would be playing the other actress.

Names like Meera Jasime and Meena have been doing the rounds on social medias. But, certain trustworthy reports suggest that yesteryear actress Nadhiya Moidu is playing the other lead. Her role is very crucial in the movie’s storyline. The actress is expected to join the sets of Neerali very soon.

Nadhiya has previously worked with Mohanlal in movies like Nokketha Doorathu Kannum Nattu, Koodum Thedi etc. Neerali marks her comeback to the Malayalam industry after a five year long gap. She was last seen in Shyamaprasad’s anthology film, English.

Mohanlal has allotted around 15 days for the shoot of Neerali. He is sporting a young and trim look in the movie. Suraj Venjaramoodu, Dileesh Pothan and Sai Kumar are also part of the supporting cast. ‘Eega’ fame Kiccha Sudeep is said to be playing the villain’s role. The makers are also in talks with a leading actor from Bollywood to play a prominent part.

Santhosh Thundiyil is wielding the camera and Stephen Devassy is handling the music department. Director Ajoy Varma himself is editing the movie. Neerali is being produced by Santhosh T Kuruvilla’s Moonshot Entertainment, and co-produced by John Thomas and Mibu Jose Nettikdan.
