Nayanthara signs for ‘Lakshmi’ and ‘Maa’ fame Sarjun’s debut movie!

Nayanthara is currently on a signing spree. The actress already has a handful of projects and she has now signed for one more. She is playing the lead in debutant Sarjun KM’s horror flick. The director is a very popular name in the short film ciruit. His recent short films, ‘Maa’ and ‘Lakshmi’ had won quite a few awards and were widely discussed for their bold themes. He is also a former associate of the legendary Mani Ratnam.

Reportedly, for his debut movie, Sarjun has come up with a pure horror flick that also has a strong emotional content. Nayanthara signed for the movie after being highly impressed by the subject. She had also watched Sarjun’s recent short film Maa and liked it. The director also has a thriller movie with Varalakshmi Sarath Kumar coming up.

Sarjun’s horror movie with Nayanthara is being produced by KJR studios, who had also funded the actress’ recent superhit movie Aramm. Nayanthara currently has a long list of movies lined up, namely Imaikka Nodigal, Kolamavu Kokila (Co Co), Kolaiyuthir Kalam, an yet to be titled psychological thriller with Arivazhagan and Thala Ajith’s Viswasam. She is also part of Chiranjeevi’s Sye Narasimha Reddy and Nivin Pauly’s Love Action Drama.

Details regarding when her movie with Sarjun will go on floors has not yet been announced.
