Neerali will have superior VFX quality than Pulimurugan!

Mohanlal’s next release will be Neerali, directed by Ajoy Varma. Shoot for the movie was wrapped up month in quick time and the makers are currently busy with the post-production. Since Neerali is an adventure thriller, the movie has a lot of graphic works. One of India’s leading VFX companies, After is handling the works in Neerali.

According to some trustworthy reports, Neerali will have the best quality visual effects that Malayalam cinema has ever seen. The makers are investing huge amount of money and time to get the best possible output. Currently, Pulimurugan is the only other Malayalam movie to boast of good visual effects. It is learnt that Neerali’s work will be superior to that of Pulimurugan.

Neerali’s technical crew was mostly from Bollywood since the movie has high prominence to VFX. Santhosh Thundiyil, noted for his works in several Hindi films has handled the cinematography in Neerali. He has worked in big ticket films like Krrish, Rustom, MS Dhoni etc. Serena Tixeria, make up artiste of films like 3 Idiots and Dhoom, Sunil Rodriguez, the action choreographer of Golmaal Again and Singham Returns and other such experienced technicians are also part of Neerali’s team.

Neerali has Mohanlal playing the role of a gemologist. Nadiya Modiu plays his wife in the movie. Parvatii Nair, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Dileesh Pothan and Nasser are part of the supporting cast. The movie is produced by Santhosh T Kuruvilla’s Moonshot Entertainment, and co-produced by John Thomas and Mibu Jose Nettikdan. As per latest reports, Neerali will hit screens on June 14 as a Ramzan release.
