Nivin Pauly-Sidhartha Siva movie titled Sakhavu ?

Nivin Pauly is now busy acting in Njandukalude Naattil Oridavela directed by Premam fame Althaf. He has also finished shooting for his latest Tamil movie, Santa Maria directed by debutant Gautham Ramachandran.

Nivin Pauly in between these movies shot for a new movie directed by national award winning director Sidhartha Siva.

This movie is said to be based on campus politics and Nivin Pauly is playing the role of a student leader. Now, the movie is rumoured to be titled as Sakhavu meaning comrade.

Malayalam cinema has already seen many movies based on campus politics. But it will be interesting to see how a critically acclaimed director like Sidhartha Siva and a popular star like Nivin Pauly make this movie.

The actor has finished the first schedule for the movie and was seen sporting a thick beard during the shooting. Kollywood actress Aishwarya Rajesh and Sreenivasan are playing other important roles in this movie.

Popular cinematographer Geoge C Williams who has worked in movies like Raja Rani, Kaththi and Theri is debuting in Mollywood with this movie.

It seems like campus movies are coming back to Mollywood after a short while. Many movies under production are based on campus stories like Tovino Thomas starrer Oru Mexican Aparatha, Dhyan Sreenivasan’s Ore Mukham, Abrid Shine-Kalidas Jayaram’s Poomaram.
