Official: Dhanush and Aishwarya Lekshmi in Karthik Subbaraj’s gangster thriller

Recently, we had reported about Dhanush and Malayali actress Aishwarya Lekshmi teaming up for director Karthik Subbaraj’s new film. The project has been formally announced today via social medias. S Sashikanth of Y Not Studios is producing the movie, which is a gangster-thriller set entirely in the United Kingdom. A leading actor from Hollywood is also expected to be part of the cast.

This yet-to-be titled film will have music by Santhosh Narayanan, with whom Karthik Subbaraj has collaborated in all his other films except ‘Petta’. Shreyaas Krishna will be cranking the camera and Vivek Harshan will be handling the edits. The makers have issued a press release revealing the entire technical crew. They have also informed that shoot will begin next month.

This is Aishwarya Lekshmi’s second film in Tamil. She is making her debut with Vishal’s upcoming film, which is being directed by Sundar C. Tamannah Bhatia is also part of the movie, shoot for which is still progressing.
