Official: Vijay Sethupathi signs his next

Vijay Sethupathi has been on a signing spree for the last couple of years. He has multiple projects in his kitty and he has added one more to the list. He is reuniting with his mentor Seenu Ramasamy for a new film to be produced by composer Yuvan Shankar Raja. The official announcement was made last day through social media. The movie has been tentatively titled as Maamanithan.

Interestingly, the movie will have music scored by both Yuvan and his father, the legendary Ilayaraaja. Yuvan shared a photo with the team in his social media handle, and along with that has written,

Director Seenu Ramasamy and Vijay Sethupathi have already worked together in the National award winning film ‘Thenmerku Paruvakaatru’, ‘Dharmadurai’ and the yet-to-be released ‘Idam Porul Yeval’. Cinephiles are expecting another quality film from this successful actor-director combo.

Vijay Sethupathi is currently on a high with the back to back blockbuster success of ‘Chekka Chivantha Vaanam’ and ’96’.
