“Please don’t do any compromise for me” : Mammootty to Shyam Dhar

We had told you that Mammootty is currently shooting for 7th Day fame Shyam Dhar’s upcoming entertainer. Mammootty is playing the role of a tutor in a teacher training institute.

Shyam Dhar in a recent interview shared more details about the movie and his experience working with Mammootty.

He said, “I wanted to do something different from my debut movie. 7th Day was a dark thriller but my new movie with Mammootty has a different tone and background. He liked the script and he was happy to work with a new team. He is very cool in the sets and comfortable to work with. He told me not to do any compromise for him, he just wanted the character to be like what the script demanded. His character is a very jovial person, so the same positive energy reflects in our sets.”

The director had earlier informed that, Mammootty is playing an Idukki native who comes to Kochi as a teacher trainer. His character considers every student as a child and they love his lectures as he connects and explains everything with an anecdote. He is a fabulous story teller and the film will reveal the reasons for the same.

Nee-na fame Deepti Sati and Asha Sarath are playing the female leads in the movie. Innocent, Dileesh Pothen, Hareesh Kanaran and Sohan Seenulal will be seen in supporting characters.

Story and screenplay for this movie is written by debutant Ratheesh Ravi. The movie is being produced by will B Rakesh and Mohammed Salim under the banner MSM Cinemas. M Jayachandran ia composing the songs for this movie.
