Young super sStar Prithviraj is having the time of his life as his career is going through the most shining phase. Even though he had went through a tough for the last 1 and half year, the actor had come back strongly through the film named Ennu Ninte Moideen directed by RS Vimal which released on this year September 19.

It was turned out to be the biggest blockbuster of his career and his first solo blockbuster as well. It is now on the course to replace Premam from the second spot in the all-time biggest grossers list in Mollywood and cement a place behind Mohanlal’s Drishyam which is sitting comfortable at the top and will remain there without much threat as well. But now he is all set to set a new record as well by reaching the 100 crore club of Mollywood for the first time ever by an actor in Malayalam cinema.

We are talking about the total business his films had done this year in Mollywood. Earlier Mohanlal had done a total business around 80-85 crore in 2013 with his films and this year Nivin Pualy also done a business around 90 crore through his films. Prithviraj had surpassed all that and already entered the 100 crore club with regard to the total business his films had done this year. His first 3 films this year was Picket 43, Ivide and Double Barrel and these 3 films altogether done a business around 15 crore rupees. Then came his Ennu ninte Moideen which had done a business around 50 crore rupees. The Multi-star film Amar Akbar Anthony had done a business around 30 crore and his last solo release Anarkkali also did a business around 6-7 crores as of now. In total these figures were added up to 100 crore rupees almost.

From this year Prithviraj films alone did almost 100 crore business here in Mollywood and when we add Nivin Pauly stats to this, it can reach almost 200 crore from a single year. Mohanlal and Mammootty films together had done almost 80 crore business this year as well.
