Prithviraj’s Kuruthi starts rolling; Check out the pooja pictures!

Prithviraj Sukumaran’s new film ‘Kuruthi’ got launched on Wednesday (December 9) with a customary pooja ceremony. The star’s mother Mallika Sukumaran lit the lamp and officially kick-started the proceedings. Almost the entire cast and crew were present for the pooja. Debutant Manu Warrier is directing the film and it is scripted by another newcomer, Anish Pallyal.

From the tagline, ‘A vow to kill, an oath to protect’, ‘Kuruthi’ looks an action-thriller. It has an elaborate supporting cast. Murali Gopy, Roshan Mathew, Shine Tom Chacko, Srindaa, Mamukkoya, Manikandan R Achari, Navas Vallikkunnu, ‘Thanneer Mathan Dhinangal’ fame Naslen and ‘Thatteem Mutteem’ fame Sagar Surya will be seen in important roles in the film.

On the technical front, Abhinandan Ramanujam is handling the camera and music is by Jakes Bejoy. Akhilesh Mohan is the editor. Supriya Menon is producing the film under the banner of Prithviraj Productions. It is their third production after ‘9’ and ‘Driving School’.
