Priyadarshan’s next with Biju Menon begins!

Netflix is planning a 10-part film series, which will all be based on MT Vasudevan Nair’s stories. Priyadarshan is directing one of these segments and it has Biju Menon as the lead. The film’s shoot has kick-started in Pattambi.

The film is based on a story titled Shilalikhitham. Apparently, this is the first time Priyadarshan is working on a script by MT. Moreover, this is also the director’s first outing with Biju Menon. So it will be interesting to see how their combination turns out. The cast also includes Shanthi Krishna, TG Ravi, Sshivada and Joy Mathew.

The anthology series also has films helmed by Shyamaprasad, Jayaraj and Santosh Sivan. While Parvathy plays the lead in Shyamaprasad’s film, Unni Mukundan stars in Jayaraj’s segment. Siddique is said to be essaying the lead role in Santosh Sivan’s film.

News Value Productions Pvt Ltd headed by MT’s daughter Aswathy V Nair and Sudheer Ambalappad is producing the films. More details regarding the project are still awaited.
