Pulimurugan releasing in record number of theatres

Mohanlal starrer Pulimurugan is all set to release on October 7th. The movie is set for a grand release and is expected to have a big opening in the box office.

Now reports are coming in that Pulimurugan will be releasing in around 325 theatres. In Kerala the movie will be releasing in 160 theatres. Outside Kerala the movie will be releasing in 165 theatres. The producer said that apart from this, they are planning to release the Telugu version in 300 theatres.

The movie went to censors today and was given a clean U certificate by the board. The runtime of the movie is 2hrs and 37 minutes. Pulimurugan will have its first show at 8’o clock in all theatres, except the multiplexes.

Earlier the makers were planning to release the movie in around 200 theatres across the state. But, Mohanlal’s Onam release Oppam is still running successfully in all the theatres. Oppam is now officially the fastest movie to enter the 30 crore club in Malayalam Cinema.

Pulimurugan is written by Udhayakrishna and directed by Vyshakh. Tomichan Mulakupadam is producing this movie under his banner Mulakupadam films.

The movie also stars Telugu actor Jagapthi Babu, Lal, Bala, Kishore, Siddique,  Suraj Venjaramoodu and Namitha in other supporting roles
