Rahul Raj begins background score works for The Priest

Post-production works for Mammootty starrer ‘The Priest’ have begun. Music director Rahul Raj has begun the background score works. Last day, the film’s director Jofin T Chacko took to his Facebook account to share a photo taken with Rahul Raj and informed the same.

‘The Priest’, scripted by Jofin himself, is said to be a mystery thriller. The film was in the final stages of shoot when the nationwide lockdown was announced. After a gap of over 6 months, the makers resumed shoot in October. Due to the pandemic threat, the team followed all the safety measures recommended by the government to complete the shoot.

‘The Priest’ brings together Manju Warrier and Mammootty for the first time ever. The cast also includes Nikhila Vimal, Saniya Iyappan, Jagadheesh, Ramesh Pisharody, Ameya Mathew, Baby Monica of ‘Kaithi’ fame, ‘Nayika Nayakan’ fame Venkitesh and Tony Luke in supporting roles.

The film has Akhil George as the cinematographer and Shameer Muhammed as the editor. It is jointly produced by Anto Joseph, B Unnikrishnan and VN Babu.
