Rajisha Vijayan joins Nimisha Sajayan in Stand Up

Earlier we had reported about Nimisha Sajayan starring in State Award winning director Vidhu Vincent’s new film ‘Stand Up’. Rajisha Vijayan has also joined the film and she will be playing one of the leads along with Nimisha. A poster featuring her was unveiled last day by the makers. From the posters, we presume that the film is about a stand-up comedienne. It is a subject that is new to the Malayali audience as stand up shows are not yet popular in Kerala, as it is in North India or when compared to other Southern cities like Chennai or Bangalore.

‘Stand Up’ is scripted by Umesh Omanakuttan. It has a lesser known technical crew comprising of cinematographer Tobin Thomas, music director Varkey and editor Christy Sebastian.
