Ram Charan in Janatha Garage director Koratala Siva’s next

It ie reported that promising young actor Ram Charan will play the lead in the upcoming movie directed by Koratala Siva. The movie was planned before itself, but the director moved on to make Srimanthudu starring Mahesh Babu and later Janatha Garage starring Mohanlal and Jr NTR in the lead.

Koratala Siva project will be Ram Charan’s next after finishing shooting for Dhruva. It is the Telugu remake of blockbuster Tamil movie Thani Oruvan directed by Mohan Raja. The Tamil version had Jayam Ravi and Arvind Swamy in the lead.

Arvind Swamy will be reprising his role in the Telugu version also. Current heartthrob Rakul Preet Singh is playing the character essayed by Nayanthara in the original. Dhurva is directed by Surender Reddy.

Koratala Siva’s last release Janatha Garage with Mohanlal and Jr NTR in the lead was a massive blockbuster. The movie minted over 100 crores from the box office. Mohanlal’s subtle but powerful performance as Sathyam and Jr NTR’s power packed action blocks were the USP of the movie.
