Ramesh Pisharody’s next film to be produced by Aashirvad Cinemas?

One of the leading production houses in Malayalam, Aashirvad Cinemas is celebrating their 21st anniversary. The banner headed by Antony Perumbavoor has produced several blockbuster films starring Mohanlal. ‘Narasimham’, ‘Ravanaprabhu’, ‘Naran’, ‘Drishyam’ and ‘Lucifer’ were some of their biggest hits. The banner currently has four projects lined up — ‘Marakkar: Arabikadalinte Simham’, ‘Drishyam 2’, ‘L2: Empuraan’ and ‘Barroz: Guardian of D’Gama’s Treasure’.

Latest buzz in social medias is that Aashirvad Cinemas is set to produce a new film to be helmed by Ramesh Pisharody. The actor-turned-filmmaker has so far directed two films — ‘Panchavarnathatha’, starring Kunchacko Boban and Jayaram, and ‘Ganagandharvan’ with Mammootty.

If news about Pisharody teaming up with Aashirvad Cinemas is true, Mohanlal is most likely to star in it. It must be noted that except for ‘Aadhi’, all other films produced by the banner were with Mohanlal. We still have to wait for a confirmation.
