Ranjith’s next with Niranj and Anu Sithara titled as Bilathikadha

As a director, most of Ranjith’s last few films have been with big stars like Mohanlal, Mammootty, Prithviraj and Dulquer Salmaan. However, his next movie will be a refreshing change as it has the two-film-old Niranj and Anu Sithara in the lead roles. The movie has been titled as Bilathikadha.

Niranj, the son of actor Maniyan Pilla Raju, recently made his debut as a lead actor with the movie titled Bobby. Anu Sithara is noted for her role in movies like Ramante Edanthottam, Achayans, Happy Wedding etc. This upcoming movie also stars Kalabhavan Shajon, Suresh Krishna, Kaniha, Dileesh Pothan and Kottayan Nazeer in supporting roles. There are also unconfirmed reports about a superstar playing a cameo role.

Bilathikadha is scripted by noted scenarist Sethu. Incidentally, this is only the third time that Ranjith will be directing a movie for which he has not written the script. Reportedly, the movie will be shot completely in London. Prashanth Nair will be cranking the camera and Sandeep will be handling the editing department.

Bilathikadha is being produced by Maha Subair under the banner of Varnachitra Big Screen.
