Samyuktha Menon and Nikhila Vimal to play the female leads in Dulquer Salmaan’s next

After a year long gap, Dulquer Salmaan is making his return to Malayalam cinema with Oru Yamandan Premakadha. The movie marks the directorial debut of BC Noufal, who has previously helmed some popular TV shows. The superhit writer duo of Bibin George and Vishnu Unnikrishnan are scripting it. Anto Joseph is producing the movie under his
banner Anto Joseph Film Company.

As per latest reports, the makers have signed Nikhila Vimal and Samyuktha Menon as the female leads. Nikhila is well known for her performance in Love 24×7 and Aravindante Athidhikal. She is currently shooting for the Sathyan Anthikad directorial Njan Prakashan in which she will be seen as Fahadh Faasil’s pair. Samyuktha, meanwhile, has two films coming up in Malayalam – Lilli, which has her in the titular role, and Theevandi alongside Tovino Thomas.

Oru Yamandan Premakadha is expected to be a complete commercial entertainer on the lines of Vishnu Unnikrishnan-Bibin George duo’s previous scripts, Amar Akbar Anthony and Kattappanayile Rithwik Roshan. Salim Kumar, Soubin Shahir, Hareesh Kanaran, Dharmajan and Vishnu Unnikrishnan are also part of the movie’s cast.

Dulquer will be seen as a local Malayali chap in the movie. The story is set in the Fort Kochi and Mattanchery region, a terrain explored numerous times in Malayalam cinema. But the makers have assured that the audience can expect to see an unseen fun side of Dulquer in this movie.

The ongoing schedule in Kochi will be wrapped up by July 31 and the next leg of shoot will commence only by November as Dulquer is busy with other commitments. The actor will start shooting for his new Hindi film, The Zoya Factor from next month.
