Shoot wrapped up for Mammootty’s Shylock

After around two months of shoot, Mammootty’s ‘Shylock’ has finally been wrapped up. The film is scheduled to hit screens this coming December for Christmas. Directed by Ajai Vasudev, the film is shaping up as an action packed mass entertainer. Bibin Mohan and Aneesh Hameed have scripted the film and it is being produced by Joby George of Goodwill Entertainment.

‘Shylock’ has Mammootty playing a financier’s role. It is said to be a grey shaded character and also a highly stylish one. Along with him, the film also has veteran Tamil actor Raj Kiran and Meena in major roles. Bibin George, Baiju Santhosh, Siddique, Kalabhavan Shajohn, Arthana Binu, Arjun Nandakumar, Hareesh Kanaran and many others are also part of the cast.

Ajai Vasudev had earlier directed Mammootty in ‘Rajadhiraja’ and ‘Masterpiece’. According to him, ‘Shylock’ is a family based mass entertainer. It is a complete package with all necessary commercial ingredients like action, humour and emotions.
