Sivakarthikeyan’s new film starts rolling

Sivakarthikeyan’s new film with director Pandiraj has started rolling today. Sun Pictures is producing the film, which is yet to be titled. Anu Emmanuel has been signed as the female lead. Aishwarya Rajesh, who has worked with Sivakarthikeyan ealrier in ‘Kanaa’, is reportedly playing his sister in this movie. Soori, Yogi Babu, Natarajan aka Natty, RK Suresh, Samuthirakani and Bharathiraja are part of the supporting cast. The movie will have music by D Imman, cinematography by Nirav Shah and editing handled by Antony Ruben.

Pandiraj is a National award winning director well known for helping films like ‘Pasanga’, ‘Kathakali’ and ‘Kadaikutty Singam’. He has previously worked with Sivakarthikeyan in ‘Marina’ and ‘Kedi Billa Killadi Ranga’. Expectations will be high when he reunites with Sivakarthikeyan, who is a much bigger star now.

Sivakarthikeyan was last seen shooting for ‘Hero’, directed by PS Mithran. His sci-fi film with director Ravi Kumar is also on the floors. Another film with Vignesh Shivn is also in the pipeline. His next release will be ‘Mr Local’, scheduled to hit screens worldwide on May 17.
