Suriya-Hari combo’s Aruvaa dropped?

Suriya and director Hari were supposed to team up for a new film titled ‘Aruvaa’. It was announced as a rural mass entertainer on the lines of the same combo’s hit film ‘Vel’. Shoot was planned to kick-start earlier this year but due to the Covid-19 situation, the makers had to put on hold. Kollywood medias are now reporting that the film is now on the verge of getting dropped.

Director Hari is instead planning another film with Arun Vijay, who is also his brother-in-law. The actor was recently spotted sporting a new look, which is said to be his appearance for Hari’s film, also a rural drama.

Suriya meanwhile is said to be prepping up for ‘Vaadivasal’, which is to be directed by Vetrimaaran. He has also committed for films with directors Pandiraj and Siva. His ambitious film ‘Soorarai Pottru’ is expected to hit screens soon after things return back to normalcy.
