Suriya sports a stylish new look in his upcoming film!

Suriya is one of those actors who is willing to take the extra efforts if a character demands it. His new film ‘Soorarai Pottru’ has him in multiple looks and more recently he was spotted with a closely cropped hairstyle that reminded me of an army man. It seems like the actor has also lost a few kilos to look the part.

‘Soorarai Pottru directed by Sudha Kongara is loosely based on the life of GR Gopinath, the founder of Air Deccan, who is also a retired captain of the Indian army. Malayali actress Aparna Balamurali is paired with Suriya in the film. Veteran actors Paresh Rawal, Jackie Shroff and Mohan Babu will be seen essaying prominent roles.

‘Soorarai Pottru’ is a very ambitious film, that is scripted jointly by Shalini Usha Nair and Sudha Kongara. The movie has camera cranked by Niketh Bommireddy, music by GV Prakash and stunts handled by Hollywood action choreographer Greg Powell. Academy award winner Guneet Monga’s Sikhya Entertainment is producing it with Suriya’s 2D Entertainment.
