Thalaivar 168: Nayanthara plays a lawyer in Rajinikanth’s next

It was only recently that Nayanthara joined the cast of superstar Rajinikanth’s new film directed by Siva. Interestingly, the film also has three other heroines as part of the cast. Veterans Meena and Khushbu were the first to join the team. Later, Keerthy Suresh’s name got announced. While it is still not known who plays Rajinikanth’s pair in the film, it is heard that all four female actors will have prominent characters to play.

Nayanthara is reportedly playing the role of an advocate in the film. It is for the first time that she is playing a lawyer’s role in her career. This is also Nayanthara’s fifth outing with the superstar after sharing screen space with him in ‘Chandramukhi’, ‘Kuselan’, ‘Sivaji’ and ‘Darbar’. Interestingly, among the four heroines, only Keerthy Suresh is yet work with him.

‘Thalaivar 168’ (tentative title) is said to be a rural based mass entertainer just like director Siva’s last film, ‘Viswasam’. Even the technical team of ‘Viswasam’ comprising of DOP Vetri, music director Imman and editor Ruben have been retained as such. Actors like Prakash Raj, Soori and Sathish are also part of the supporting cast.
