Thondimuthalum Driksakshiyum fame Nimisha Sajayan paired opposite Kunchako Boban!

We had recently reporter about noted television host Sou Sadanandan turning a filmmaker. Her debut directorial will have Kunchacko Boban and Thondimuthalum Driksakshiyum fame Nimisha Sajayan in the lead roles. They play a couple in this movie, which also marks the comeback of senior actress Mallika Sukumaran.

This yet-to-be-titled movie is a simple family satire and is penned by newcomer Sony Madathil. More details regarding the title along with the cast and crew members are expected to be officially announced very soon.

Nimisha-Kunchacko pair is a fresh combo and their on-screen chemistry will be interesting to look forward to. Post her impressive performance in Thondimuthalum Driksakshiyum, Nimisha has been getting a lot of offers. She will be next seen opposite Shane Nigam in B Ajithkumar’s romantic flick Eeda.

Sou Sadanandan is well known for hosting the Film Lounge, a very popular TV show among the Malayali cinephiles. She has also acted in a couple of films like David and Goliath and Ormayundo Ee Mukham.

Last year, the anchor-turned-filmmaker’s documentary Chembai: My Discovery of a Legend, got national level recognition with a Special Mention for a Non-Feature Film. So naturally the National award winner’s debut directorial with Kunchako Boban has high expectations among the audience.

Kunchacko Boban is currently shooting for Ordinary fame Sugeeth’s upcoming fun entertainer Shikkari Shambu. Anil Radhakrishna Menon’s Diwanjimoola Grand Prix, Abrid Shine’s Poomaram, cinematographer-turned-filmmaker Sreejith Vijayan’s Kuttanadan Marpapa and Ramesh Pisharody’s directorial debut Panchavarna Thathaa are some of the other upcoming films in Kunchacko Boban’s kitty.
