Totally bowled over by Asif’s effortlessly brilliant performance in Kettyolaanu Ente Maalakha: Geetu Mohandas

‘Kettyolaanu Ente Malakha’ has to be one of the most loved films of Asif Ali in his entire career. The film directed by debutant Nisam Basheer had earned critical appreciation and deservingly emerged as a commercial success. Scripted by Aji Peter, it is a family drama that addresses an issue that’s widely considered as a taboo topic.

Asif Ali’s performance in the film is rated by many as his career best. Recently, actress-turned-filmmaker Geetu Mohandas got to watch the film and she was mighty impressed by Asif. In her Facebook post, she calls his performance an effortlessly brilliant one. Her post reads,

It is worth a mention that Asif Ali is currently shooting for Geetu’s husband Rajeev Ravi’s film, ‘Kuttavum Shikshayum’. Asif is reportedly playing the role of cop in this thriller film which is based on a real-life incident. Sunny Wayne also essays an important role in it.
