Vijay’s humility and his generosity with fans made a lasting impression on me: Priyanka Chopra

Priyanka Chopra is an international star today with several big projects in Bollywood and Hollywood lined up. But not many know that the former Miss World started her acting career with a Tamil film. PC’s debut film ‘Tamizhan’ had her paired opposite Thalapathy Vijay. Besides playing the female lead, she also lent her voice for peppy song with Vijay in the film.

In her recently published memoir ‘Unfinished’, Priyanka Chopra has mentioned about Vijay and how she was floored by his humility and generosity with fans. Explaning an incident that happened at the sets of her TV show ‘Quantico’, she has written,

“As I stood and took pictures with them through my lunch break, I thought about my very first co-actor ever and the example he’d set. Vijay’s humility and his generosity with fans made a lasting impression on me”.

‘Unfinished’ is described as a collection of personal essays, stories and observations. It chronicles important moments in Priyanka Chopra’s life and her 20-year-long career, such as working as an actress-producer and UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador.
