It’s a wrap for Suresh Gopi starrer Kaaval

The makers of Suresh Gopi’s highly anticipated film ‘Kaaval’ have completed the entire shoot. After a long pandemic-induced break, the team had resumed shoot towards the end of October. They shot for over two weeks, which involved important portions featuring Suresh Gopi.

Written and directed by Nithin Renji Panicker, ‘Kaaval’ is an eagerly awaited film as it marks Suresh Gopi’s comeback to mass genre after a very long gap. The film is basically an action-packed family drama in which the star plays a character named Thamban. Along with him, Renji Panicker will also be seen in a full-length character. The story is set in the high ranges of Idukki and spans across different timelines.

The film has an elaborate cast comprising of Zaya David, Alencier Ley Lopez, IM Vijayan, Sujith Shankar, Kichu Tellus, Binu Pappu, Santhosh Keezhattoor, Muthumani, Pathamaraj Ratheesh and many others. National award winner Nikhil S Praveen is the cinematographer, Mansoor Muthutty is the editor and Ranjin Raj of ‘Joseph’ fame handles the music department.

Joby George of Goodwill Entertainments is producing the film. The makers will be eyeing a theatrical release.
