Remo Review

Remo is the latest Tamil movie that released all over amidst wide expectations and hype. This much anticipated romantic comedy movie was scripted and directed by a debutante named Bakkiyaraj Kannan. This flick has been produced by RD Raja under his banner named 24 AM Studio and it is his maiden venture. Here is our Remo Review before you decides up on a ticket.

Young star Sivakarthikeyan and popular Malayali actress Keerthy Suresh is playing the lead roles in this movie. The film received great attention from the film lovers mainly due to the female getup sported by Sivakarthikeyan for this film.

The plot revolves around the character named SK played by Siva, who wants to be an actor. He falls in love with a girl named Kavya who is a nurse and she is engaged to another man. Later while SK was trying grab a role in KS Ravi Kumar’s Avai Shanmukhi sequel, in which he had to play a female nurse.

But he fails in the test and while he was on his way back home dejected in that Nurse getup, he meets Kavya again and she offers him a job in her Hospital. He accepts it and then tries to start to make her falling in love with him.

Bakkiyaraj Kannan had done a great job with his debut venture, without any doubt. The screenplay written by him was really a good one and he had included all elements of fun for the audience in the screenplay. The dialogues were hilarious and it is one of the highlights of the flick.

When it comes to direction, he had presented it convincingly and the presentation style was different. He used the humor track very well and the songs were placed correctly.

Performance of Sivakarthikeyan is the highlight of the movie and he has been stunning. His performance as the female nurse was fabulous and he really gelled in to the character. We can say that he is the next big star in Tamil cinema.

Keerthy Suresh once again given a cute performance. Keerthy’s onscreen chemistry with Sivakarthikeyan was too good and we already saw it in Rajni Murugan early this year. Artists like Sathish, Saranya Ponvannan, KS Ravi Kumar, Rajendran, Yogi Babu etc also done a very good job.

DOP from PC Sreeram was amazing and it was splendid when it comes to the song sequences. Anirudh Ravichander’s music was fabulous and it really helped the movie to create a great atmosphere. Ruben’s editing also helped the movie to sail smooth.

In total, Remo is a really good entertainer which can satisfy you as a viewer if you are a fan of comedy entertainers.
