As ‘Petta’ gets ready for a grand release this Thursday (January 10), the makers have been releasing new promo videos. Latest is the promo video of the song ‘Ilamai Thirumbudhe’. Featuring an uber cool Rajinikanth and Simran, this song is expected to work big-time among melody lovers. The superstar looks extremely stylish and still has the charm from his heydays. Another interesting thing about the song is that it marks the reunion of ‘DnA’ after a long gap. Dhanush has penned the lyrics and is set to tunes by Anirudh.

‘Petta’ directed by Karthik Subbaraj is a mass entertainer that boasts of a stellar star cast. Along with Rajinikanth, the movie also has Vijay Sethupathi, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Sasikumar, Bobby Simha, Simran, Trisha, Sasikumar, Malavika Mohanan and Megha Akash in major roles.

The pre-release hype surrounding ‘Petta’ is humongous and the fact that it is clashing with Ajith’s ‘Viswasam’, also scheduled for release on the same day, makes it even more exciting. Bookings have already started and almost all the theatres in Tamil Nadu have full occupancy for the opening shows. ‘Petta’ is expected to have a massive opening at the box office.
