‘Jabariya Jodi’ starring Sidharth Malhotra and Parineeti Chopra is gearing up for release. The movie is set to hit screens worldwide on August 9 (Friday). Directed by Prashanth Singh, this movie promises to be a colorful mass entertainer. It is quirky romantic comedy based on the unique concept of Pakadwah Shaadi or groom kidnapping, which is prevalant in Indian heartland.

Siddharth Malhotra plays a Bihari thug in the film. Parineeti is paired opposite him. This is their second film together after ‘Hasee Toh Phasee’. This upcoming film’s cast also includes Aparshakti Khuranna, Sanjay Mishra, Javed Jaffery, Chandan Roy Saniyal, Gopal Dutt and Neeraj Sood. Its trailer dropped in recently and looks quite promising.

‘Jabariya Jodi’ is co-produced by Ekta Kapoor, Shobha Kapoor and Shailesh R Singh under the banners of Balaji Motion Pictures, Karma Media & Entertainment and ALT Entertainment.
