Dear Comrade: Vijay Sethupathi, Dulquer Salmaan and Vijay Deverakonda render the Comrade Anthem!

Vijay Deverakonda’s multilingual film ‘Dear Comrade’ is gearing up for release. The makers have released the ‘Comrade Anthem’ online. While Vijay Sethupathi has rendered the Tamil lyrics, the Malayalam words are sung by Dulquer Salmaan. Vijay Deverakonda has rendered the Telugu part. This is a huge promotional tactic by the makers that will publicized the movie among the general audience.

‘Dear Comrade’ is written and directed by Bharat Kamma. From the recently released trailer, it looks like an intense coming-of-age romantic film. Vijay Deverakonda plays Bobby, a passionate college-going youngster who falls in love with Lilli, a cricketer, played by Rashmika Mandanna.

Both the lead actors are hugely popular among the South cienma audience courtesy the success of their films like ‘Pelli Choopulu’, ‘Arjun Reddy’ and ‘Kirik Party’. They further shot to fame last year with ‘Geeta Govindam’, in which the two shared screen space for the first time. ‘Dear Comrade’ is being released in four languages considering their popularity alone.

The movie is being produced by Mythri Movie Makers and Big Ben Cinemas.
