Here’s the much-awaited teaser of Rajinikanth’s Petta

Today is 12/12, the superstar day. Rajinikanth is celebrating his birthday day today and wishes have been pouring in from all parts of the world. As a special birthday treat, the makers of his upcoming movie, ‘Petta’, have released the eagerly anticipated teaser. As expected, it is a full-on mass teaser which focusses solely on Rajinikanth. The movie directed by Karthik Subbaraj promises to bring the superstar of old times. All the posters and Anirudh’s terrific music album indicates the same.

Along with Rajinikanth, ‘Petta’ has a huge lineup of actors like Vijay Sethupathi, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Sasikumar, Bobby Simha, Simran, Trisha, Malavika Mohanan, Sasikumar, Megha Akash and Mahendran. The movie touted to be an action packed mass entertainer reportedly has Rajinikanth as a professor, who has a dark past. Simran and Trisha are paired with him in the film.

Kalanithi Maran is producing the movie under the banner of Sun Pictures. It is scheduled for a grand worldwide release, coming January.
