Vijay Sethupathi’s long delayed ‘Seethakathi’ is all set to hit screens next month. The makers have released the trailer today. From the trailer, we get to know that Vijay Sethupathi plays Ayya, who is a famous theatre artist and a cine actor. Due to some unknown reasons, he is unwilling to attend shoots of his already committed projects. We will have to wait for the movie’s release to know more.
This three minute long trailer is highly intriguing and raises a lot of curiosity. Vijay Sethupathi will be appearing in multiple looks in the movie and it is said to be one of the most challenging roles in the his career. Oscar Award-winning make up artist Kevin Haney has designed his looks in the movie.
‘Seethakaathi’ directed by Balaji Tharaneetharan is said to be a social drama. The movie has high expectations among the audience as it is Vijay Sethupathi’s 25th film.
Along with him, the cast also includes Archana, J Mahendran, Bagavathy Perumal, Rajkumar, Parvatii Nair and Remya Nambeesan.
Govind Vasantha, best known his work in ’96’, is the music director. Saraskanth is the DOP and R Govindraj, the edior. The movie is being produced jointly by Sudhan Sundaram, Umesh, Jayaram and Arun Vaidyanathan under the banner of Passion Studios.
