Kadamkadhayai: Arjun Ashokan lends his voice for the theme song of Indrajith’s Aaha

Actor Indrajith Sukumaran celebrates his birthday today and on this special occasion, the makers of his new film ‘Aaha’ have released the first song video online. Titled as ‘Kadamkadhayai’, it is the film’s theme song. Actor Arjun Ashokan has lent his voice for the track and Sayanora Philip has composed it. Jubith Namradath has penned the lyrics.

‘Aaha’ is a sports flick based on Kerala’s very own sport, ‘tug of war’ aka ‘vadamvali’. Debutant Bibin Paul Samuel is directing the film and Tobit Chirayath has scripted it. The film is inspired from a famous team ‘Aaha Neeloor’ from Pala. In the 2008 season, the team had won a staggering 72 matches out of the 73 they played. The story is centered around the team’s journey in two different timelines.

Along with Indrajith, the film also stars Manoj K Jayan, Amit Chakalakkal and Ashwin K Kumar in major roles. Santhy Balachandran of ‘Tharangam’ and ‘Jallikattu’ fame plays the female lead.
