Raftaara: Here’s a new song from Lucifer

As informed earlier by the makers of ‘Lucifer’, the ‘Raftaara’ song has been released in social medias. This dance number featuring Waluscha De Sousa appears towards the climax of the movie. Deepak Dev has composed the track. Several critics have pointed out that this ‘item dance’ is objectifying and unnecessarily placed in the movie.

Meanwhile, ‘Lucifer’ is continuing its tremendous run at the box office. Apart from Kerala and RoI centres like Bangalore, the movie is doing huge business in major overseas centres like US and GCC. After storming past the Rs 50 crore mark, the movie is now on course to enter the elite Rs 100 crore club.

Directed by Prithviraj and scripted by Muriali Gopy, ‘Lucifer’ is a mass entertainer with a political backdrop. Mohanlal plays the lead role in the movie, that has a star studded supporting cast. Vivek Oberoi, Tovino Thomas, Indrajith Sukumaran, Manju Warrier and Saniya Iyappan have essayed crucial roles in the movie.
