Trailer of Rajeev Ravi’s Kuttavum Shikshayum grabs attention

With ‘Kuttavum Shikshayum’ scheduled to hit screens on May 27, its trailer has been released online. The film directed by Rajeev Ravi was supposed to release last year itself but got postponed multipled times due to unknown reasons. There were also speculations about the film getting a direct release on Netflix, but the makers denied it.

‘Kuttavum Shikshayum’ stars Asif Ali, Sunny Wayne, Sharafudheen, Alencier Ley Lopez and Senthil Krishna as the leads. The film is an investigation thriller based on a real-life incident of a jewellery robbery that occured in Kasargod in 2015. The case took a 5-member team from the Kerala police force to a dreaded village in Uttar Pradesh where they risked their lives to arrest the culprits. Asif Ali essays the role of a Circle Inspector named Sajan Philip in the film. Sunny Wayne, Sharafudheen, Alencier Ley Lopez and Senthil Krishna also play cops in it.

Sibi Thomas, a policeman in real life, has scripted ‘Kuttavum Shikshayum’ along with journalist Sreejith Divakaran.
