Trailer of Soubin Shahir-Lal Jose film Meow is impressive

Lal Jose’s new film ‘Meow’ starring Soubin Shahir and Mamta Mohandas as the leads is gearing up for release. The makers had recently shared the film’s trailer. The film, which is mostly set in the UAE, has Soubin plays Dasthakeer. Mamta Mohandas essays the role of his wife Sulu and the couple has three kids. From the trailer, it seems to be an entertaining family drama.

‘Meow’ is scripted by Dr Iqbal Kuttippuram. It is his fourth film with director Lal Jose after delivering hits with ‘Arabikatha’, ‘Diamond Necklace’ and ‘Vikramadithyan’. Interestingly, the first two films were also centered around the lives of Malayalis living in Dubai. Some NRI Malayalis are also acting in ‘Meow’.

Ajmal Sabu is the film’s cinematographer and veteran Ranjan Abraham has been assigned as the editor. Justin Varghese of ‘Njandukalude Naatil Oridavela’ and ‘Thanneer Mathan Dhinangal’ and ‘Joji’ fame is the music director. The film is produced by Thomas Thiruvalla.
