Villain teaser released

The official teaser for Mohanlal’s upcoming movie Villain with director B Unnikrishnan has been released. The teaser was shared on Mohanlal’s official Facebook page.

Villain is touted to be a crime thriller with Mohanlal playing the role of Mathew Manjooran, an ex-cop. The actor reduced a few kilos for the movie and looks a lot trimmer and fitter now. He will be seen sporting two looks in Villain.

The movie features a stellar star cast including popular Tamil star Vishal, Manju Warrier, Raashi Khanna, Telugu actor Srikanth and Hansika Motwani among others.

Apart from the huge star cast, Villain also has some big names in the technical department. Acclaimed cinematographer Manoj Paramahamsa is cranking the camera. It is the first Malayalam movie to be shot completely in 8K resolution.

Rockline Venkatesh who has produced films like Lingaa and Bhajrangi Bhaijaan, is funding Villain. An international company from Poland have been roped in to handle the visual effects. Peter Hein is choreographing the stunts along with Stunt Silva.

Music for the movie will be composed by Oppam fame 4 Musics. Shameer Mohammed of Charlie and Angamaly Diaries fame is handling the editing. Shoot for the movie is progressing at a brisk pace in Vagamon and Ernakulam.
