Watch: Irul trailer is all about mystery!

Fahadh Faasil’s new film ‘Irul’ is gearing up for a direct release in Netflix. Its trailer has just been shared online. The film directed by debutant Naseef Yusuf Izuddin is centered mainly around three characters, played by Fahadh, Soubin Shahir and Darshana Rajendran. From the trailer, we presume that the whole film is set in a posh mansion where the three characters come together. The trailer is highly intriguing as it is full of suspense and mystery.

The plot details given by Netflix goes like this,

A dark rainy night, an empty house, a stranded couple and an unknown man. A sleek game of the cat and the mouse starts playing on, as the three of them find a dead body in the basement. The movie takes the shape of an old-fashioned whodunit — the kind with mystery, suspense and a house which feels like a mousetrap. Leaving us questioning, who is the killer?

‘Irul’ is jointly produced by Anto Joseph Film Company and Plan J Studios, headed by Jomon T John and Shameer Muhammed. Jomon has cranked the camera and edits are done by Shammer. The film is set to premiere on April 2.
