The trailer of Jacob Gregory starrer ‘Maniyarayile Ashokan’ has been released online. It looks like a fun rom-com set in a rural backdrop. The story is centred around the protagonist Ashokan trying to get married. The film is scripted by Vineeth Krishnan and directed by Shamsu Zayba.

‘Maniyarayile Ashokan’ has an elaborate star cast. Anupama Parameswaran, Anu Sithara, Shritha Sivadas, Nayana Elza, Shine Ton Chacko, Krishna Shankar Vijayaraghavan and Lakshmi Sri will be seen in important roles. Young stars Dulquer Salmaan and Sunny Wayne will be appearing in cameo roles. On the technical front, camera is cranked by Sajad Kakku and music department is handled by Sreehari K Nair. Appu N Bhattathiri is editing the film.

‘Maniyarayile Ashokan’ is jointly produced by Dulquer Salmaan and Jacob Gregory. The film is all set to premiere in streaming platfrom Netflix on August 31 on the auspicious day of Thiruvonam.
