Watch this mind blowing making video of 2.0!

Much to the disappointment of movie lovers across the country, the teaser of Rajinikanth-Akshay Kumar starrer 2.0 was leaked online last day. The makers had been working hard to get the possible output but the unfortunate teaser leak shook them. The 1.26 minute video is still trending virally in social medias.

Following the teaser leak, the makers have now released a new video which gives glimpses of the extraordinary VFX works that have gone into the movie’s making. Even the leaked teaser had some stunning visuals, a kind that Indian cinema has not seen before.

Akshay Kumar, director Shankar, national award-winning VFX supervisor Srinivas Mohan and some internationally renowned VFX artists feature in the video and explain about the process that has gone behind the making. VFX and animatronic works are handled by various companies from more than ten countries. Legacy Effects, Tau Films, Quantum FX and Double Negative are all involved in the post-production process.

2.0 is one film that the whole nation is eagerly looking forward to. The first part Enthiran aka Robot was a massive hit across the country. This time the expectations are multifold as two of Indian cinema’s biggest superstars, Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar, are coming together for the first time.

Shankar has scripted the movie jointly with Jeyamohan. Many internationally acclaimed technicians are associated in the movie’s technical side. AR Rahman is composing the music and Resul Pookkutty is in charge of the sound design. Legacy Effects, who have worked in movies like Avengers, Jurassic Park, Iron Man etc are working on the animatronics department.

The movie is expected to hit screens sometime this year.
