Allu Arjun film Sarainodu had created new box office record in Tollywood
Allu Arjun’s latest film Sarainodu had created a new box office record in Tollywood. As per reports the film is having a dream run worldwide and all set to reach the magical 100 crore mark. The film is produced by Allu Aravind and directed by Boyapatti Sreenu. The film had entered in its third week. The first week gross of the film is around 72 crore from worldwide market and after the completion of 10 days, it had earned a total figure of 84 crores.
It had earned 45 crore share to the distributors in its first week and after completing 10 days the share had touched almost 55 crores. The film had crossed the lifetime figure earned by Jr.NTR’s Nanakku Prematho in just 10 days as well.
The film had got mixed opinion and the collection certainly dropped in its second week. But it had did a great job in Telengana and Andhrapradesh. The overseas market also showing great response to the film. From overseas market it had collected more than 12 crore in its second weekend giving a share around 8 crores to the distributors. The film had smashed the total figure of Sardar Gabbar Singh as well, which grossed around 79 crores. This is Allu Arjun’s 3rd consecutive blockbuster after Race Gurram and S/O Sathyamoorthy.
The Malayalam version of the film titled Yodhavu will release in Kerala on May 13 and it will be distributed by Geetha Arts here. Director B Unnikrishnan had supervised the post-production of the Malayalam version.
