Appu never made us feel that he is a star kid, he was humble throughout: Siju Wilson on Pranav Mohanlal
Pranav Mohanlal’s Aadhi has entered the second week and still continues to run to packed houses in almost all the major centres in Kerala. The movie directed by Jeethu Joseph is an action packed thriller. Critics as well as the commoners have lapped up the movie. Youth in particular are thronging the theaters in large numbers to watch Aadhi.
Apart from Pranav, the other noted performer in Aadhi is Siju Wilson. The actor who has often been cast in fun guy-next-door roles, plays a cunning villain here. His character Jayakrishnan is on the trail to kill Aditya Mohnan, the character played by Pranav Mohanlal. The actor is extremely delighted with the response that he has been getting from the viewers.
In a recent interview to DC, while reminiscing about the working experience in Aadhi, Siju said, “We were all so cool on the sets, be it Jeethu ettan or Satheesh ettan (DOP). Appu (Pranav) never made us feel that he is a star kid and we mostly forgot that fact. He was very cordial and humble throughout.”
Siju Wilson made his debut in 2010 in Malarvadi Arts Club. His first notable role was in Alphonse Puthren’s Neram. Later he acted in movies like Premam, Happy Wedding, Kattappanayile Rithwik Roshan and Njandukalude Naatil Oridavela. The actor was getting typecast in a guy next-door image but Aadhi will surely be a game changer for him.
Siju Wilson will be next seen in Thobama, directed by debutant Mohsin Kassim. He is playing the lead in the movie along with Krishna Shankar and Sharafudheen in lead roles. The movie is It is likely to hit screens in April, this year.
