Boman Irani joins the cast of Suriya-KV Anand film
Suriya’s upcoming movie with director KV Anand is shaping up real big. Malayalam superstar Mohanlal is already confirmed to play a major role in the movie. Latest to join the team is veteran Bollywood actor Boman Irani. Irani, known to be one of the finest actors in Hindi cinema, will be making his Kollywood debut with this KV Anand directorial. He has been cast to play a crucial role but the makers have refused to divulge any further details.
‘Vanamagan’ fame Sayyeshaa, Samuthirakani and Allu Sirish are also part of the movie. Shoot for the movie will kick start on June 25 with a customary pooja ceremony. The first schedule has been planned in London. The entire principal cast will be present for the London schedule. Mohanlal, who is already in UK shooting for his upcoming Malayalam movie Drama, is expected to join the team directly from there.
Director KV Anand has scripted the movie jointly with famous novelist Pattukottai Prabhakar. ‘Jigarthanda’ fame Gavemic U Ary will be wielding the camera and Harris Jayaraj has been signed as the music director. One of Kollywood’s leading banners, Lyca Productions is funding this movie, which has been conceived on a lavish scale. If reports are to be believed, the movie will be shot in over ten different countries. The makers are planning to wrap up the entire shoot before the end of November or early December.
