Dulquer Salmaan in Discovery Channel’s show
Dulquer Salmaan recently participated in a programme in Discovery India’s show India My Way.
The show was hosted by Paloma Monnappa and Meraj Shah. Interestingly, Paloma Monnappa has earlier acted in a Malayalam movie with Dulquer Salmaan, Neelakasham Pachakadal Chuvanna Bhoomi. She played the role of Ishita, a surfer hailing from Pondicherry who falls in love with Dulquer Salmaan’s character Kasi in the movie.
Dulquer Salmaan was present with director Amal Neerad and music director Gopi Sunder for the show.
The show happened at a recording studio where Dulquer Salmaan was recording “Vaanam thila thilaykkanu” song for his untitled movie with Amal Neerad.
They discussed about the traits Malayalam cinema in general. Amal Neerad talked about how Malayali audience enjoys watching movies of all languages, be it Tamil, Telugu or Hindi.
Dulquer shared his thoughts on Malayalam cinema and how the themes presented in Mollywood are very close to reality. Amal Neerad added that the audience in Kerala love to see heroes doing air borne stunts only in other language movies. Mollywood heroes should always be like the guy next door.
Later Dulquer recorded a peppy song composed by music director Gopi Sunder for their new movie.
The first schedule of filming for the movie has already been completed. The second schedule is planned in America, and the team will be leaving shortly after Dulquer finishes his other commitments.
The actor is currently shooting for Jomonte Suvisheshangal directed by veteran director Sathyan Anthikad. This family entertainer is slated for a Christian release.
