What happened to me can happen to anyone else: Bhavana
Actress Bhavana is back on her feet after going through a horrendous phase in the past few months. She was abducted and assaulted on a movie vehicle in Kochi. The incident sent shock waves across the society. The courage she showed to file a case against the perpetrators without fearing the media and her image getting ruined was appreciated.
Recently while talking to media, Bhavana urged assault victims to forget about it as a bad dream and put up a brave face. She said, “Being a popular celebrity I had this firm belief that no one would dare to touch my body without my permission. But I have now realized about it. If such a thing can happen to me, it can happen to anyone else. Likewise, if I can report such an incident, everyone should be able to do it. Why should we let the perpetrators go free? Those who dare to commit such heinous crimes should feel humiliated and not the victims.”
Bhavana recently got engaged to her long time beau and Kannada producer Naveen. She is currently busy with her professional life with a handful of exciting projects in her kitty. She recently wrapped up her portions for the first schedule of her upcoming Malayalam movie Adam Joan, starring Prithviraj in the title role. She is currently for Tagaru, a Kannada movie starring Shivaraj Kumar in the lead.
Bhavana has also signed for the Telugu remake of superhit Malayalam movie Charlie, in which she will be reprising Parvathy Menon’s from the original.
