Popular star Jayaram who is one of the most favorite heroes of family audience in mollywood is all set to play the male lead opposite the glamorous actress of south Indian cinema, the gorgeous actress Raai Lakshmi aka Lakshmi Rai. Jayaram will be seen along with Raai Lakshmi in the upcoming mollywood movie which has been titled as Santhoshamayi Gopiyetta which is actually a famous phrase from one of the old Malayalam films of the 60’s or 70’s.
Santhoshamayi Gopiyetta will be complete family entertainer and it will be directed by Boban Samuel who is very popular among the mollywood audience with films like Janapriyan with Jayasurya and Bhama, Romans with Kunchacko Boban and Biju Menon, Happy Journey with Lal and Jayasurya etc. Raai Lakshmi is very popular all over south India for her glamorous roles in Tamil films and she had also acted with Megastar Mammootty and Universal star Mohanlal in a number of mollywood films and she was the female lead in those films as well.
Raai Lakshmi is pairing up with Jayaram for the first time in her and her last outing in mollywood was with Mammootty’s pair in last year film named Rajadhiraja which ended up as an average grosser at box office. Lakshmi rai had played a key role in the tamil film named Dham Dhoom starring Jayam Ravi and in that film Jayaram also played a role of negative nature.
The story of the film Santhoshamayi Gopiyetta revolves around the character named Gopi Krishnan and his family and his journey to Melbourn to attend a function which actually paves way for some interesting events to happen in his life and the film tells us how he faces it. The character named Gopi will be played by Jayaram and almost the 90 % of the film will be shot at Melbourn, Australia.
Other detail about the cast and crew of the film is still not finalized and Jayaram is now doing the film named Thinkal Muthal Velli Vare in which popular anchor and singer Rimi Tomy is making her debut in mollywood and that too as the female lead in the film. Jayaram will join in Santhoshamayi Gopiyetta after he finishes up the above mentioned project which he is doing currently.
