Trance censored U/A by revising committee; New release date announced
All the last-minute drama related to ‘Trance’ release has come to an end as the revising committee has censored the film with an U/A certificate. This comes after the censor board officials in Thiruvananthapuram suggested some cuts, which didn’t go well with Anwar Rasheed, who is both the film’s director as well as producer. The revising committee saw the film last day in Hyderabad and cleared it with no cuts. The makers have announced that the film will be hit in screens on February 20. It was initially planned as a Valentine’s Day release.
‘Trance’ has Fahadh Faasil playing the lead role of a motivational trainer named Viju Prasad. Vincent Vadakkan has scripted the film that is centred around the lead character’s mental and emotional growth at different phases of his life. His journey starts from Kanyakumari and ends in Amsterdam. Nazriya Nazim, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Soubin Shahir, Chemban Vinod Jose, Jinu Joseph, Vinayakan, Dileesh Pothan, Arjun Ashokan and Sreenath Bhasi will be seen essaying other crucial roles.
