AR Rahman delivers yet another blockbuster album for Vijay; Check out the full album of Sarkar!
The audio launch of Vijay’s Sarkar was held last day in a private college in Chennai. The event was a grand affair attended by all the team members of Sarkar and hundreds of fans. AR Rahman’s songs were performed live in the event. The music album boasts of five songs – ‘Simtaangaran’, ‘Oruviral Puratchi’, ‘Toptucker’, ‘OMG Ponnu’ and ‘CEO in the House’. Except for the first two songs, it is a full-on techno album from the Mozart.
‘Simtaangaran’ is a thara-local track with Vivek’s quirky lyrics being the major highlight. Bamba Bakiya, Vipin Aneja and Aparna Narayan have lent their voices for this track. With Vijay’s energetic dance, this song will definitely become a rage among the fans.
After ‘Ella Pugazhum’ and ‘Aaalaporan Tamizhan’, ‘Oru Viral Puratchi’ is AR Rahman’s latest anthem for Vijay. The song is an instant hit. It has a strong political flavour and stresses on the public’s voting rights. Rahman and Srinidhi Venkatesh have sung this track that has some very powerful lyrics.
‘Top Tucker’ sung by Mohit Chauhan is another one of those experimental tracks from AR Rahman.
‘OMG Ponnu’ sung by Sid Sriram and Jonita Gandhi is similar to the ‘Macho’ track from Mersal. This fast paced track is most likely to work well with Vijay and Keerthy Suresh’s dance steps.
‘CEO in the House’ is the intro song that was shot in Las Vegas. Vijay and Varalaxmi Sarath Kumar feature in this song. Sung by Nakul Abhyankar and rapper Blaaze, this track is high on energy and again is expected to be a treat for the fans with Vijay’s dance moves.
Except for the first two songs, all the other tracks have a western influence and it syncs well considering the fact that Vijay plays a multi-millionaire techie in the movie. This AR Murugadoss directorial has high expectations as Vijay’s previous two outings (Thupakki and Kaththi) with the director were hugely successful. The movie is scheduled to hit screens worldwide for Deepavali, on November 6.
