Aamir Khan’s Dangal inching closer to 500 crore mark
Aamir Khan’s sports drama Dangal released on December 23rd is continuing it’s amazing run raking in huge numbers at the box office.
The movie broke several records after registering a whopping Rs 72.93 crore in its second weekend.
Now the total domestic collections of the movie stand at Rs 270.47 crore, with another Rs 141.60 crore from overseas business. Thereby, the total worldwide collection of the movie stands at Rs 412.07 crore inching closer to the 500 crore mark.
Dangal opened to unanimously positive reviews both from the critics and masses. It became the second highest opening day grosser in 2016 next only to Salman Khan’s all time blockbuster Sultan. It is also currently the second highest grossing movie of 2016, after Sultan which registered a whopping Rs 300.45 crore at the Indian box office.

Dangal, directed by Nitish Tiwari is sports drama inspired from the real life story of wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat from Haryana who trained his two daughters- Geetha Kumari Phogat and Babita Kumari- in the sport to achieve glory for the country. The movie also stars Fatima Sana Sheikh, Sakshi Tanwar, Zaira Wasim, Sanya Malhotra.
