Dilwale, which was the most anticipated Bollywood film of this year had released last day. The Shahrukh Khan- Kajol pair, presence of Varun Dhawan, direction of Rohit Shetty who had given many blockbusters raised the anticipation level to great heights as well. But unfortunately the film had opened to negative reviews mostly and the first day gross collection of the film from India shows that as well. The India business of the film is just around 21 crore from its first day.

Yes, of course the protest against the film from various religious and political parties and the cancellation of shows is a factor for this low collection. Still we have to say that the collection is too low for a Shahrukh Khan film. Everybody expected it to break the first day collection record set by Salman Khan’s film Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, which is above 40 crore from India alone. But it never went anyway near that collection and ended up grossing only half of the first collection of the Salman Khan film.
Salman Khan’s each film is doing such great business at box office. Along with him Aamir Khan films also doing great business. In fact Aamir Khan sitting at the top with the biggest blockbuster in India named PK and Salman Khan following him sitting at the second spot with Bhajrangi Bhaijan. Shahrukh Khan had great expectation on this film Dilwale and it seems that he have to wait some more time to be a box office king of Bollywood. Dilwale seems to be going down with negative reviews and all the protest that went against it because of the comment made by Shahrukh Khan about the intolerance in India.
